Mid priced fizz

What are your faves? I usually buy Graham beck sparkling but fancy a change. Want something for a few drinks parties at home where teh fizz has to be decent as not too much food will get eaten!

The M&S Prosecco is lovely and is sometimes on offer.

Aldi champagne is very good (well, I think so anyway). £12 a bottle. Otherwise San Leon prosseco from waitrose/ ocado. Around £10 but often on offer. Rose version also v nice, and I'm not a fan of rose usually.

Just bought prosecco from Tesco, half price at the moment reduced to £6.49 a bottle. So nice I've bought two cases!

The Aldi prosecco for £5.99 a bottle is fab. I bought 6bottles after reading Good Housekeeping magazine in the doctors surgery and seeing that it had beaten every other mid priced fizz. I wish I had bought more. I top it up with cordial that we stock up on when we go to French hypermarkets, and honestly its like a very posh cocktail.

Another vote for the aldi champagne here - £12 a bottle. They also have a sweet asti that is under £5 a bottle and that is really nice too if you like sweet fizzy stuff. That one is called moscato I think.

If you have a look on money saving expert there are a few good deals with the various supermarkets for bulk buying, they ususally have the best deals if you want more well known stuff.

I have just got some prosecco in Sainsburys, most of them are nice in there, can't remember the name but is was £8.99, 25% off, so 6.57 a bottle then a further 25% off 6 bottles of any fizz in there at the moment (my fave begins with an M and a yellow label)
So I got 18 bottles for about £90, and thats how many nectar points I had so free fizz!

Lindauer Special Reserve is always fabulous! and miles better than a lot of the poor, cheap champagnes

(To clarify, I don't mean all cheap champagne is poor, but a lot of it is!)

Fizz I buy at m and s at 9.49 Is on offer at 2 for 12 pounds,lush !

Ps the current 14.99 price is bound to be reduced soon - it often comes down to 8.99 - we're currently waiting for this so we can get our Christmas fizz.......

San Leo processco from Waitrose is lovely! Just seen it's only £6.66 at the moment. I will be stocking up for Xmas & New Year.

Quite a few proseccos on offer in sainsburies and waitrose and a nice cava, reserva on offer in waitrose, half price..

I am dreaming of the fizz.....sooooo looking forward to it.

I like the taste of cava but always gives me a headache SO many here may have to sample a few this weekend

Really, how is cava differnet from prosecco, Ihave a friend who says Prosecco gives head ache but not cava I thought it was all champagne anyways..

No idea but I have had a few clonkers from cava (although may be the quantity!)

I find anything thats remotely cider ish gives me one.
