What are you getting your 14/15 month old DD?

DD isn't really into toys that much. Not sure if she has a low attention span or if she's just more of an "active" baby, she was an early walker and is rarely still. She does play with books, bouncy balls, her leapfrog activity table and megabloks, but mainly prefers running about the house! She already has stacking cups, wooden blocks, wooden abacus, squeaky eggs, toy car, toy phone, a few Vtech toys, lots of soft toys, tambourine, maracas, fake keys.. etc!

We have got her a smart trike for Christmas. Other people are asking what to buy her. Apart from clothes, I'm not sure!

Any hits (or misses!) you can recommend?

You could ask for things that will be good in 6 months time. What about a balance bike or a scooter? Something for the garden?

What about asking for day out vouchers?

My ds is 19 months. He has an older brother so lots of toys already. He's getting a chunky plastic balance bike (can just about touch the floor) and an iron & ironing board. We've bought bath toys and bits and bobs for his stocking too.

Family tend to buy a little gift then put money into his savings account or give us money to buy clothes as and when needed.

Buying ours a wooden kitchen, although it will be monopolised by her older brother initially. We've asked her grandad to get her a little life backpackss she's always stealing her siblings.
Other things she currently loves is her new wooden cake that you can cut up, stacking boxes, ride on toy, toy farm and tractor from John Lewis and her pushchair.

My DD is 16 months and her main present is a joint one with her brother...we've got them a little shop. We've got plastic toy food and a basket already which she LOVES playing with, so that could be another idea for you if you don't have something similar already. A few of her other pressies from family are things to go in the shop, like a cupcake shape sorter, a pizza that she can put toppings on and cut up, a teaset etc.

Other bits...a scribbler/etch-a-sketch type thing, Red Dog Blue Dog game, a little pushchair, a noisy Dear Zoo book and a Happyland toy.

Oh and she's also getting a cleaning bucket with a mop, broom and dust pan and brush! She's always trying to help me out with this stuff so I think she'll love it!
