Just want some ideas really, two dds aged 4 and 1.9. Don't really want to give chocolate, and nothing too expensive, just 4 or 5 small things they can open first thing.

New toothbrush. A nice hairbrush. A little cuddly toy. A DVD. Mini Lego city set. Bath squirters. Bubble bath. Those magic flannels.

Poundland and 99p shop are your friend here. My DS (2yo) loves cars so I've picked up a couple of matchbox cars from there, a colouring book and crayons. I've also got him a book with a noisy button which he will love (on a 3 for 2 from M&S), as well as a few of the same things as noblegiraffe suggested.

I always used to put one of those little box sets of tiny board books in the DC's stocking at that age. It had to go in the heel of the stocking.

chanie44 · 04/12/2013 16:03

I agree poundshops are great. They have some activity books for your 4 year old.

Stokey · 04/12/2013 16:42

Thanks all - had forgotten about DD1s love of the pound shop!

And YY to chocolate coins and books

Dd (3) little disney princess make up set - glitter nail varnish, glitter lip balm, brush all in a hand bag. Bath bombs, soap, body lotion, chocolate coins, book, barbie magazine, some repunzle beanbag chameleon for the top, orange, ingredients to bake something (e.g brownies, nicely packaged) sweet tube, posh drawing pad and pencils (she is just beginning to write and I thought it may encourage it)

Dd (1) chocolate coins, pad of paper, vests, socks, peppa pig sponge, soft toy for the top, bubbles, orange, tooth brush, sylvanian families figures

FixItUpChappie · 04/12/2013 22:58

My 3yr old is getting a kids snorkel mask, 2 Schleich marine animals, Mickey and the Beanstalk DVD, some dinosaur magnets and a recorder in his stocking. He also has a book and a recordable microphone leaning up against his stocking which are technically (in my mind) stocking gifts Grin

My 10 month old is getting a noise maker, a bath toy called a "Plui", a cage bell, 2 board books, 3 Schleich marine animals and a music CD.

Splatt34 · 04/12/2013 23:10

Hair clips. DD (3) has asked for a torch, at£3 think that will go in stocking, bath crayons, tooth brush, princess tooth paste, socks, knickers
