Has anyone bought any physics or electronics type kit or equipment for a 10 year old? He has a pulley and rope already and likes making zipwires for his toys from the window into the garden and I would like to get him some similar stuff or an electronics kit but not sure where to look- Maplins have lots of electronic kits but would like a recommendation
thanks

Cambridge brainbox sets are fab my kids love them!

Have a look at the Brainbox kits, great press-stud circuits that allow for all kinds of experiments.

My DS has the Snap Circuits kits, which are quite like the Cambridge sets already mentioned and I think John Adams Hot Wires kits are also good too.
