Cold weather hamper - ideas?

My MIL has asked for removable grips for the bottom of her shoes for Christmas - she has fallen in icy weather before.

i thought of expanding this into a winter/cold weather survival hamper with some warm socks in it too, but am a bit stuck for other ideas of what else to put in it? She prefers practical things when it comes to gifts and is very hard to buy for!

TIA!

A lovely mug or cup and saucer (whichever she prefers) and some nice tea and biscuits. A snuggie blanket with sleeves, one of those buckwheat pillow things thst you heat up in the microwave (my Mummy has one and it's lush, I really covet it!) Car de-icer if she's a driver, or some of that path clearing salty grit mix which could be fab if she's worried about slipping.

Deep Heat bubble bath (it's v nice).
A really good novel for snuggling up with - Sherlock Holmes stories, or a Wilkie Collins, or some ghost stories.
