So if you were to receive a gift voucher would you prefer for it to be for
A) a big department store which is a fair distance from your home
B) a smaller but still nice foody store but which is within walking distance
C) somewhere completely different????

TIA xxx

For me, somewhere completely different.

  1. I've got a debenhams voucher in my purse which is 3 years old, we don't have a debenhams in my town.
  2. I'm not a foody
  3. I'd want book tokens

Department store. Or the shopping centres round here do vouchers that you can use in every shop which I think is good.

AuditAngel · 29/11/2013 19:14

What about Amazn vouchers, tat gives loads of choice, or perhaps John Lewis with a good online store.

Matissey, why not use your Debenhams vouchers online?

AuditAngel · 29/11/2013 19:14

That may have been a top, but it works! Not tat, but that!

a department store would be my choice.

mattissy you can spend it online, we received loads of them for our wedding and spent them on the website.

As a previous poster said, some shopping centres do vouchers can that be used most, if not all stores in the Centre.

Another idea would be 'love 2 shop' vouchers as they are accepted in many high street stores.

One for a company that will not go bust in the next six months or so...

olibeansmummy · 29/11/2013 21:03

C) a voucher that can be used in lots of shops so you don't risk the shop going bust and losing your money. But out of the 2 I'd go for B) as I could enjoy the foody treats over the Christmas period.

Oooo, Audit & Three, thanks for that. I never even thought of that, lol!
