We have booked to take 3 teenagers on a Med cruise next October and it's part of their christmas present. How can I give them this as a present to open on Christmas Day ? Need some inspiration please !!

What a brilliants present!!

How about tying the ticket (or a made up ticket) to a plastic "bath" boat?

Or a inside a guide book?

Will source some plastic boats next week. We don't have the tickets yet but I guess we could mock some up. Thank you.

Could you do a sort of treasure hunt....each clue leads to a location (if you watch Big Bang Theory you may understand the type I mean), and the final clue leads to, say, the dock.

Will get my thinking cap on for clues. Don't watch Big Bang theory but maybe worth a look at ?

Yeah. If you dont know the characters it may seem a bit confusing though. Ooh the box set of the series would probs go down well with teens!

Anyways....clues involve
(1) a jigsaw of a place which they then have to go to
(2) a riddle to solve at that place to tell them the next
(3) a literal hunt of a room to find something hidden (in this example "under a rock" meant under a rock group poster, even though they were in a geology lab full.of rocks)
(4) a rummage through a big bag of clothes for the final clue.

Ill get my thinking hat on too. How old are the teens?

Not sure if this would work with teens but I am doing something similar for my DC, aged 6 and 7, and I'm making a kind of pass the parcel. It's their main present so will start off with a giant box wrapped up (thanks Amazon) and inside that are gradually smaller and smaller boxes. Between each layer is an item related to the trip. Its going to be cold so they will get new thermals, fleece tops, handwarmers. Also have items in there for the journey like new drink bottles, activity books and snacks. Finally the last layer will be an envelope that contains their tickets.

Going to have to get busy and incorporate all these great ideas. Thank you x

You could give them each clue presents to open first throughout the morning, a bottle of sunscreen, new swim suit, goggles, toy boat etc and then have tickets as name places at the table or inside crackers.

The kids are 15 yr twins and a 14 yr old. Plus a 1 yr old ! Going to incorporate all those ideas so better get on with it !
