need to get presents for children i dont know. i have to buy for a 4 year old girl, and a 2 year old boy. 2 presents each, one around £10 and one around £5. anyone got ideas please? my dc's are older so cant ask them

I have a few nieces/nephews of mine and DP and this year, i went to home bargains! had to buy for boys aged 6, 5 & 4 and girls aged 8 & 3. Basically looked at the age of some toys to make sure they were appropriate and managed to spend 40 quid on the lot, along with some selection boxes so they each had two gifts. Well impressed!

I agree - super hard to buy for nieces and nephews - don't know what they've got, what they're into ... www.compare4kids.co.uk/gifts - worth looking at to get some ideas - easy to search too - boy/girl, age and price.

i have sorted it now. i got a talking thomas thing for the little boy, and some little mermaid bath toys for the little girl.
