Couples presents! Nightmare

Hi

I tend to end up with couples to buy for which aggravates me - not sure if easier to get 2 small presents each?

Have couples ranging in age from mid-20s for friends, 30s for cousins and then late 50s for aunts/uncles/mums/dads

Is hampers such a bad idea?

Oh I do personalised hampers for everyone now! I make them up myself so I can put in bits that I know both will like.

Cinema tickets are fab. The view do gift cards.

I am getting my female friends gifts and I am making their partners Christmas biscuits that I will put in a nice Christmas box.

Last year I made boxes of edible gifts. Things like honeycomb, turkish delight, rocky road etc. It went down really well.

Hampers are lovely me and my friend swap them every xmas. You can vary it up rather than just doing food and do a movie night one ie dvd nice snacks some fancy beer or a romantic one ie tea lights wine a lush body bar maybe something nice for breakfast. Im doing one around a cookbook this year ive picked 2 recipes from the book and got the core ingredients for the meal and a nice bottle of wine its for my aunt and uncle who both like cooking.

Hope that helps

Hampers are good for couples as there's loads of different themes that would suit two people (assuming they have similar-ish interests as they are a couple?). I did all the men in my family a movie night hamper a couple of years ago. Filled the basket with popped popcorn, added a couple of DVD's, sweets, butterkist popcorn and a couple of beers. Can be adjusted to suit what each person likes. Doing my Dad a coffee themed one this year as he's too hard to buy for.

Cineworld do a gift box for Christmas for £20 that includes vouchers for 2x adult tickets (2D or 3D), 2x regular drinks, 1x regular popcorn and 2x galaxy gift chocolates. Good price considering how much it usually costs for a single ticket.

Dollybird the cookbook one is a good idea. Never seen that before!

Depends on your budget but cinema vouchers, theatre tickets or maybe tickets to sayRhs Chelsea show next May or similar depending on location.
