Stockings

I have a few ideas for both the children like a new flannel, toothbrush, bubble bath, book, chocolate coins. And then ideas for dd like hair bands and clips but I don't want to get a load of plastic tat for ds.

What do you put in stockings?

You need this thread have bumped it for you. Loads of ideas though some of the HK/ China items might not come on time (takes about month) most are also available (for a price) from ebayers in UK.

How old is your DS? I always put in lots of 'stationery' bits & pieces, crayons, notebooks, ruler etc - can get a bit more sophisticated as they get older, depending on what they need for school. Does he have any hobby - ie: collecting bits and peices, my DS loves unusual stones & you can buy them for a £1 or so.

Christmas socks, underwear etc. (Fun socks at Morrisons at the moment =£1.50).

Now my DS is 12 & his stocking seems full of Lynx products .

Sorry I should have said, he is 6. Dd is almost 4.

My 6yo's stocking will have:

Chocolate coins
Annual
Bin Weevils pens/notepad (from Poundland)
Rubber duck
Trash Packs
Glow sticks
Mini craft set
Beast Quest book
Sticker book

We went shopping today and managed to sneak some things without the kids seeing. So far they have:

Pants/knickers
A puzzle
Bubble bath
An umbrella
A wash mitt

I will get some chocolate, a book, a DVD and a few little bits and pieces suggested on here and the other thread.

Plus they have a onesie each for Christmas Eve, which we have never done before so that's quite exciting.
