Hanging Christmas Decorations

...Ok - I live with a Christmas Grump who hates having decorations around the place - I ignore him - Bah Humbug - so to celebrate I have invested in two large Naff Glittery Reindeer/Stags Heads complete with antlers which I intend to drape some festive baubles on..

However - where I want to hang them there are no hooks on the walls - I know that even suggesting that I "bang a nail in the wall" is not going to happen..

Does anyone know of any type of fastening/fixtures that I can stick on a painted wall that I can take down after Christmas without removing all the paint work ???

p.s. The Reindeer are still hidden in the boot of my car awaiting a suitable time when I can retrieve them and decorate.... and that's before I get started on the lighted Garlands and Nordic theme that I have chosen this year - he is going to be soooo pleased that he doesn't have to get the boxes down from loft as I have bought new stuff !!!

3M hooks (I bought these for Hallowe'en a couple of years back to put scene setters up in the front room. Came off with no damage IF you remove them correctly)

I have a hook on my front door (UPVC) for my wreath. You can get different sizes for different weights.

BTW the stags heads sound lush. I was coveting a felt deer head in The Range Grin....I still might.

Ignore your DH , tish and nonsense tell him.

Not what you asked but yoy could fill these clear plastic tree baubles with celebrations & treats by way of compensation for the visual xmas assault your dh is about to be inflicted with.....!

...I have used the 3m hooks previously and didn't have much luck

I did think about that picture hook/hanging machine that is advertised on TV - it apparently only leaves a tiny tiny tiny hole when the tack is removed but I can't remember what it was called...

I thought that it was the type of thing that was made by JML but can't find it on their website. Does anyone know what it is called ???

p.s. Thank for the empty baubles suggestion they are definitely a must-have ...
