I have two bags of this at home plus about 150g of sultanas - do you think this will be ok to use as ingredients for Mincemeat?? - I am a bit worried about the peel - is there too much in the bag?

I have Bramley Apples , Orange, Spices and Suet at home so should be ok with the rest of the ingredients.

I always use bags of mixed fruit for the majority then top up with the dried fruits I like most! Friends and family love my mincemeat, so I must be doing something right! :)

My mincemeat these days has dried figs and apricots in addition to raisins , sultanas and cherries, orange and lemon zest instead of mixed peel.
