Stocking fillers for little ones

DD is 3 and DS will be almost 4 months at Christmas. I'm after stocking fillers for the pair of them - I've got chocolate coins, reindeer hair bits and toothbrush for DD. Neither child "needs" anything and have plenty of relatives buying toys.

Their main presents from us are a couple of Disney DVDs for DD and books and Sophie the giraffe for DS.

MIL also insists on doing her own stocking for each grandchild and has taken DD shopping for DS's presents so how am I meant to get her to believe hers is from Santa apparently they've bought a pink dragon...

Oh and I'm not deluded enough to think DS will care, but DD will notice and be upset if he's left out.

My Ds was 2 weeks old for his first Christmas. I did a stocking because ds1 was 4 and would ask questions. I put a packet of long sleeve vests in nice patterns, some bibs, some teething toys, a new dummy, a sippy cup and a rattle. Things I was going to get anyway along the line, but ds1 thought it was great and "all things a boring baby likes" Hmm
