Hi,
I have a 4 year old DD and 7 year old DS, I have a budget of about £75 to get everything for both of them.
DS has asked for a Hexbug Fish so that is about £9 and DD a dolly so I can get one for again £9 or £10 so I am looking at £50 left we don't do stockings so I want to get 2 or 3 more presents each.
They don't watch TV other than CBBC and Cbeebies so haven't seen any adverts.

I've just been on tesco direct and they have a lot of toys for 2 for £15. There's an emmi doll, toy post office and orchard games that may be good for your dd (loads more but these stuck in my head)

Friends only budget £5/child for Christmas plus a few stocking items, so I don't actually think that's all that tight a budget.

I really like the Playmobil secret agent detector jet, currently £12 on Amazon (though price fluctuates up as far as £18), it has a mini metal detector inside and the reviews are great.
Usborne boys /girls colouring books from Book People (see Christmas bargain thread for discount and free delivery codes) are beautiful quality and can entertain arty children for days, with discount codes you could get both for £9 - a lot compared to most colouring books, but worth it in my opinion.

What about doing some xmassy activities like baking, seeing the Xmas lights in town, etc. that will add to the excitement.
