What are you asking for this Christmas? I'm a new mummy and seeing as patience and sleep can't be gifted, my list is pretty dull this year! New dressing gown, Landmark Trust Vouchers for a holiday and some gumigem teething jewellery!

What would you like this Christmas?

Sorry, don't know why it posted twice. Darn phone is playing up.

fuzzpig · 19/11/2013 22:14

No idea what I'm getting from DH. It's already hidden away somewhere and got admiring gasps from DSD so I'm intrigued!

My mum and grandma have given me some money for all Xmas/birthday (mine is before Xmas) presents, my portion has been used on a ukulele and will be getting a framed print of a favourite painting from Tate modern. Can't wait! :)

tigerdriverII · 19/11/2013 22:17

I'm after some Dubarry boots Not sure how to get sizing and style right and get DH to clock it all

lifesgreatquestions · 19/11/2013 22:18

A juicer. I'm late to the party!

fl0b0t · 20/11/2013 03:03

TIGERdriver I guess you'll have to go and try some on?:)

Have dropped a few solid hints about an eternity ring and have mentioned s possible trip to my favourite jewelers (they do house clearancesand probate etc so have lots of nice vintage stuff) on dhs day off in s couple of weeks! Now to Mentally down grade my expectations from a hugely expensive yellow Diamond to something more in budget! !

I'm one of those really annoying people who really can't think of anything I want or need, that wouldn't cost a fortune. My poor DP has to be creative, and more often than not, gets it spot on.

TheOneWithTheHair · 20/11/2013 07:20

Pjs. Thick ones with long sleeves. That seems ideal to me this morning. Grin

Margetts · 20/11/2013 12:10

A handbag and some Jo Malone shower gel.

NewChoos · 20/11/2013 13:58

Some welly socks
Aveda hand and foot cream
Some posh chocs to scoff Christmas morning!

HappyAsEyeAm · 20/11/2013 14:25

DH and I need a new laptop to use at home, so we are going to get one and that is our present to each other. We don't need anything really, and if I did need something, I would wait until my mum, or MIL, or SIL or whoever asked for a suggestion (as they always do). Some black leather gloves would be nice as mine have ripped, and some cashmere socks would be amazing, as I've always wanted some and never bought them for myself. A scarf with a bit of red in it would be lovely. A Radley handbag (maybe I will have a look in the inevitable after Christmas sale).

Taffeta · 20/11/2013 14:47

Fat Face PJs
Teal jumper
Game of Thrones box set

IsThatTrue · 20/11/2013 15:01

I'm getting new running shoes from my parents ( how rock and roll do I sound?!)

I've asked for a garmin forerunner watch but I doubt I'll get it.

No idea from the IL's they're always pretty secretive.

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 20/11/2013 15:11

I don't have a Christmas list but if I did, it would run:

House to self for at least one overnight and ideally, like, a fortnight
Large supply of M&S ready meals
Luxurious new throw/blanket (think snuggly cable cashmere or similar)
Crate of my favourite loose-leaf tea
Hamper of Montezuma's and/or Green & Black's chocolate, various flavours
Boxsets: The Borgias, Game of Thrones, House of Cards (original and new versions), Dracula with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the Hollow Crown

That'll do nicely.

Oh, and a new knee to replace my dodgy one.

Damnautocorrect · 20/11/2013 15:39

I've asked for money to pay for Christmas
Bought myself my Xmas pjs yesterday in primark may also have bought myself the worlds smallest violin as I got the Christmas grumps yesterday

PoopMaster · 20/11/2013 16:18

I have no idea...was going to ask for Hunter welly socks as "something to open" but found some in a closing down sale (and boy are they ACE!) so now I'm back to square one.

Wouldn't mind jewellery but with 2 young girls things just get grabbed at all the time may also order a small violin

milk · 20/11/2013 16:33

Honestly... nothing :)

Heathcliff27 · 20/11/2013 16:37

DH has bought me a new engagement ring (have got it already but not allowed to wear it till xmas) as I managed to lose my original one Sad. I am getting hedgehog slippers from Next from the kids.

BeckyBrandon · 20/11/2013 16:39

Oh I dunno. I feel like I shouldn't make a list this year becauae last year scrooge didn't get me much at all. infact I got my own present... and wrapped it

ELR · 20/11/2013 17:39

I've asked for a dkny rose gold watch, an Alexander Monroe bee necklace and a purple coolpix camera. I would also like some posh handmade fudge and some sort of surprise, ooh and some cashmere socks would be nice too.
I have already bought myself some new leather gloves, a new umbrella, a new top and an envelope clutch from boden as little treats to myself.

fl0b0t · 21/11/2013 03:18

It's really hard not to just buy things yourself right?
I need some warm pjs for night feeds but if I wait til Xmas that is 5 more weeks of cold arms!

To be beaten unconscious by loved ones using satsumas stuffed into tights and not to be woken until boxing day.

Doubt that grey haired bastard will make my wish come true.
