Just that really Smile

I am doing Delia's & doing the whole mixture as one pudding - so a 4 pint pudding (big family!!)

I need to know how long for the initial steam and what setting - I have high, med & low.

I put mine on medium for about 12 hours, actually I cook it until I remember to switch it off! On Christmas day I put it in the slow cooker an high at about 8.00am and we eat it at about 2.30pm. I don't think you can overcook it really.

Thanks. I am planning on making some smaller ones in a few days too.
Do you think they would need less time? I'm planning on 2 pint and then some individual ones.

I don't think it matters, I've done a variety of sizes and cooked them all for the same length of time and they've been fine. It's so easy to do them in the slow cooker as I don't need to even be at home plus it frees up hob space on Christmas day.

Thanks NCISaddict I agree that it is easier in a slow cooker as you can just about leave it & get along with the day.
I just need to make a note now of what I have done so I won't forget for next year!
