I know this is not bargain talk but I need to send presents for my niece and nephew in Australia. Does anyone know of a good, Australian, online toyshop please?

kiwidreamer · 21/11/2013 11:42

I've been to Reading HB today, a few Sanctuary products cheap... tin of lip salve 99p, foot file / scrub gloves / shower cap all around £1.30. They also have fancy large Nordic Xmas crackers 12 for £5.99 i may consider just refilling them with my fancy gifts rather than buy a cracker kit from hobbycraft!!

joymaker · 21/11/2013 11:48

TooWet Thanks for looking for me. I tried yet another search but have DS2 (16m) here with me and every time he sees the bear on the computer screen his face lights up. Might have to cave and get the musical one Sad , don't want to pay anything near £20 for it though...

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 21/11/2013 11:49

Is there a free delivery code for toys r us knocking about? The item can't be delivered to the store Hmm

FarOverTheRainbow · 21/11/2013 11:50

Wondering if anyone can help, my Df will be 14m at Christmas and loves her fisher price walker pram and loves going up and down the street with it but gets frustrated because the wheels won't turn so I'm thinking of getting her a pram that the wheels turn on but I don't know of any that will be small enough for her ages and sturdy enough to take her weight, any ideas I would be so grateful. I can offer virtual BrewWineThanks? Grin

Glittered - it's Oldham Street , Hanley

If you know Emma Brudgwater on Lichfiekd Street there are a load if dude streets & an industrial estate sort of round the back of there.

FarOverTheRainbow · 21/11/2013 11:52

Hummingbird bakery book on amazon £4

lucysmam · 21/11/2013 11:54

Anyone seen any bargainous driving gloves...please? ...they're the only thing I can think for my sister who buys what she wants if she wants it, iyswim? & she'd probably get some use out of them.

If not then it'll be some sort of voucher which I didn't really want to do...I'd like to give something to open if I can Smile

neddle · 21/11/2013 11:55

zipzap
I bought three here and they arrived on Tuesday; and another 7 here which arrived yesterday. I ordered both on the 6th November, so 13 days for the first set and 14 days for the second.
Both said estimated delivery 19/11 to 5/12.

GlitteredPinecones · 21/11/2013 12:01

Ah yes, I know where you mean Pictures :)

I really don't need to buy anything else though Grin

TooWetToWoo · 21/11/2013 12:01

joymaker this one on ebay is £14 delivered. UK seller, more than 10 available.

emark · 21/11/2013 12:44

would really appreciate a heads up if anyone spots a good deal for the Xbox 360 250gb with kinect, not fused about specific games.
I am hoping as the Xbox one is released there will be some spectacularly bargainous deals aroundGrin

issynoho · 21/11/2013 12:45

ihatethecold I got DP these Sennheiser MX365 earphones various colours, all £13ish. Good reviews but not tested them myself yet ( I can never tell good earphones from bad anyway Smile)

Has anyone seen a microfibre-type hair towel turban? Got one for DD1 in Primark last year, bright red with a sparkly button, only about £2, but not seen them this year. Want one for glamourpuss DD2.

notso · 21/11/2013 12:47

issynoho try Dunelm Mill or Poundland for the turban towel.

issynohoo they have them in the pound shop. for a pound Grin not sure how good they are but they seem to be ok and I'm guessing not much different from the £2 ones in primark.

They did have them with minnie mouse, tinkerbell etc on but in my local pound shop they are back to just the plain ones...

zipzap · 21/11/2013 12:53

neddle many thanks for that! I shall give them a go.

I've never thought of using the ebay.com to look for things that are coming from china etc - I always assumed that if they were happy to send stuff out to anywhere (and have all the different places on their listings) then they would be on all the different ebays iykwim. Learn something new everyday as it seems I assumed wrong and I now have a whole new place to browse for such stuff Grin

And I'm hoping it might even work out a smidge cheaper as stuff like the memo pads are 99p on the UK ebay but 99cents on the US one...

LalaDipsey · 21/11/2013 12:59

Turban towels in home bargains, b&m, poundland etc. Grin

notso · 21/11/2013 13:10

Grin Reastie you can't help me find one then!
It's when you roll down a hill in a big hamster ball that can have water in it if you wish. Obviously the perfect Christmas gift for BIL who is a PITA!

issynoho · 21/11/2013 13:15

Thanks all for the turban towels. Our HB didn't have any (and believe me, I'm in there regularly Wink). Tinkerbell ones from Poundland sound right up DD2's street. Will get on it.

Louisey13 · 21/11/2013 13:19

I have a 60% offer code for printerpix, apparently they do photobooks and phone covers!! Don't know exactly what 60% offer means but it was a free voucher when I ordered crafts and stuff from the works!

I think it only works once so if anyone wants it I'll happily give it to them 1st come 1st served!!

Auntiebaba · 21/11/2013 13:20

Firstly can I just say I have been a looooooong time lurker and not even registered yet but I have been so grateful for all of the bargains I've been able to get for myself and my mum (who has lots of grandkids to buy for) that I just had to say a huge thanks. Just one problem, I have bought far too much now because of these threads I'm now putting away for summer birthdays!

Just to add, I know these seem to be a favourite, the Tomy hide n squeak eggs are back down to 2.99 on Amazon.
