So, which of you works at Beamish museum then?????
I was there today, and in one of the houses was a bottle of the blood cordial. According to the lady someone who works there brought it in yesterday. So I've missed meeting a bargain threader by a day Grin.

Thanks Moo, another lovely thread baby! Are you all having extra children to account for the amount of bargain toys you have?

I also have M&S codes, so feel free to ask if anyone is still in need.

4 colour pens for the budding nurse. When I was little my teacher had one, so I got one from my parents for playing schools Smile

Trazzletoes · 19/11/2013 17:19

Thank you all! It will make his Christmas!!!!!!!

I would usually just google but I had no idea what to call them!

thenicknameiwantedisgone · 19/11/2013 17:23

Trazzletoes - Tesco sell them too. Ds1 has to have them for school.

zipzap · 19/11/2013 17:23

*Trazzletoes they had those 4 colour pens in 2 packs in poundland recently so they worked out at 50p each, significantly cheaper than anywhere else I've seen them. They also had some mixed packets of bic pens with one of those, a highlighter, a couple of biros and maybe a pencil. I saw them but didn't stop as the queues were big and I was in a hurry. They'd gone the next time I went back but I have seen them in there previously too so you might get lucky!

RatherBeOnHoliday · 19/11/2013 17:27

I like the look of the sweet shop for a fiver however I can't seem to get free delivery. Anyone managed it?

zipzap · 19/11/2013 17:29

Badvoc - we got an Ikea christmas tree last year - about 10 days/2 weeks before christmas and it was free - the price came down and down and down (as did the voucher value). They did have a charity box they were collecting in next to them which we stuck a couple of quid in but it wasn't compulsory.

Our free tree lasted until June Grin - we did have it outside and as it was still alive (despite being a rootless one) we figured we would just leave it, enjoy the greenery and see what happened. We re-potted it in June and it went sort of bronze coloured but the leaves still haven't dropped off, they are firmly attached rather than dead so I'm hoping that over the next year they'll renew themselves as a couple of other evergreen trees have done that we have had that have had a branch go brown (although I might be a bit optimistic as it's the whole tree that's gone). Failing that I'm going to stick some battery/solar lights back in it and cover it in frosting or bright pink paint or something that you wouldn't want to do to a live tree, for a bit more decoration in the garden!

Not sure if they will have bought quite so many trees this year but if you want to risk it, don't buy it immediately and you may well get it much cheaper or even free...

jamtoast12 · 19/11/2013 17:29

If there are any more m&s codes I'd love one please!

NeverQuiteSure · 19/11/2013 17:34

Lots of multi pens here Trazzle if you're stuck in hospital and can't get to the shops.

Oreocrumbs · 19/11/2013 17:34

Can someone give me some advice about the spicery packs please. I know it has been done to death but I've paid no attention as I thought I wasn't interested! Turns out I am now Hmm.

So I've bought HFW veg book and I'm going to buy a curry book too. Can anyone advise what type of pack I should get? Would the £12.95 recipe kit be the best thing to go with it?

NeverQuiteSure · 19/11/2013 17:36

Whoops, I notice I've posted the same link as Oreo Blush

Badvoc · 19/11/2013 17:37

Thanks zap :)
Just seen on amazon that the kindle fire is down to £99 - saving £60!

LoreleisSecret · 19/11/2013 17:41

Wheresthecoffee · 19/11/2013 17:46

Trazzle paperchase have them, with animals (panda, lion etc) print on the tube

Aintnobodylovesnanbetter · 19/11/2013 17:51

My dd has the pick and mix shop she loves it.

TheOneWithTheHair · 19/11/2013 18:00

Eutacia when we got dd an iPod we set it all up before Christmas and put all her favourite music on it, charged it, added her email and set up a voucher apple account. Then all she had to do was decide what apps she wanted. No waiting and no fuss. I appreciate that you will still be after another present for them though. Grin

By the way, we repackaged it so she still got the thrill of opening a box.

Sukebind · 19/11/2013 18:07

Moshulu has free P&P with the code HOLLY - starts 21st Nov. Not much of a saving but as they do lovely yet expensive slippers any money saved is a good thing.

Indith · 19/11/2013 18:09

oooh oreo I love Beamish. Wasn't me though. I must go again soon, want to take the dcs ice skating and investigate the bakery add we didn't make it to the town last time. It is only 25 min ish from home. love it.

Crutchlow35 · 19/11/2013 18:14

Just wanted to say thanks sooo much all you bargin hunters Thanks
And I also have some 20% marks and spencer codes. I think I have 4. Anyone who wants one are welcome to them Smile

Reastie · 19/11/2013 18:33

Good grief what alot to catch up on

Got my hello fresh box today (see OP code for money off and go through quidco for 40% cash back). Have to say I was really impressed. It's a box you get weekly (so have to cancel if you don't want it) and it gives you all the ingredients and a recipe card to make 3 meals. I ordered the veggie box and made tonight a puy lentil and mushroom soup with parmesan toasts. DH really liked it. Tomorrow is a thai stirfry and I have loads of exciting little pots with little spices etc to use . I've been in such a cooking rut of late that I'm really glad to have some different and interesting things to cook and hate the 'what shall I cook tonight' feeling I keep getting. All the stuff that came looks like UK stuff of good quality.

hair I have been working too hard today, I just read your thing about yellow moon as being 25% off glass penis too Blush

Crafty at last, glad it's all sorted with hearst finally

mootime congrats Thanks

TheOneWithTheHair · 19/11/2013 18:39

Ha! I'm never making another post. God knows what you all think of me if everyone sees phallic references in everything I say! Grin

MissRainbowBrite · 19/11/2013 18:42

Theonewiththehair. That's exactly what we did last Christmas to DS's ipod as it took a while to get it all set up with restrictions all in place and have it with some charge in it, was well worth doing just had to carefully repackage it.

RockingAroundTheBloodyXmasTree · 19/11/2013 18:52
