I saw one in a shop recently and thought this might be a fun idea for DD (6) - she loves listening to chapter books and has also started reading to herself at bedtime too, and often writes in bed.

Wondering if anyone here has one and if they could recommend it? None of them have the 'look inside' feature on amazon which I like to use

My eldest would love that. She has a list of all the books she has rad in her diary, just as a 'memory'. Where have you seen that?

The one I saw was Books make me happy - just in a little indie gift store in a nearby town. But I don't really like the layout/illustrations that much (like I said, I'm fussy Blush)

this one looks nice but it's annoying not to be able to see inside it. Not sure if they do this kind of thing in waterstones!

I've secretly been writing down every chapter book we've read together (it's mostly me reading, sometimes DH if I'm too unwell) - planning to do some kind of poster or keepsake made of all the book covers when she's older :)
