Which ones do you like?

I have liked white company's winter (I think) and I had a lovely one called warm mince pie one year.

I find the Yankee Candle Christmassy ones nice unlit, but overpowering when lit.

I still have the White Co winter candle from last year, going strong. Lovely.

Also Lily Flame Whispering Wish is a nice wintery one.

Diptyque candles are nice but I cant justify the price!

I love the yankee candles. Christmas memories is lovely.

Also can't remember If its glade or febreeze fig and blackberry one is divine.

Jo Malone pine and eucalyptus candle is Christmas in a scent. Expensive but gorgeous!

I've got a red one from Sainsburys with a ribbon and two tiny Christmas decorations on the ribbon wrapped round it. Every evening I'm tempted to put in on but have so far resisted.
In my local garden centre I saw a Yankee advent calendar with a different colour tea light for each evening...£25 though so quite expensive.

Just seen that the White Company has got Winter 6 snowflakes + room spray reduced to £16 from £20. I'm tempted.....
I am thinking of getting some xmas tree smell from M&S, haven't tried it but its quite cheap and I like to emphasise the Xmas tree smell

I was just thinking I had better order a white company one before they sell out due to MN !
Thanks Davros looking now!

I've bought very many candles over time and I can honestly say that Jo Malone Pine & Eucalyptus scent is heavenly and one of my favourites, albeit it is limited edition; it lasts a long time and I haven't found that it sinks in the middle like so many do. I also love Ormonde Jayne candles but they are expensive, albeit classy and come in beautiful packaging!

I love Yankee Sparkling Cinnamon and Spiced Orange too, but Sainsbury's Christmas Spice is lovely and brilliant value at £2.99 for 30 tea lights.

I ordered White Co tealights on the basis of this thread, but they're not great, the fragrance is ok but nothing special and very expensive.

wordfactory · 05/12/2013 10:15

TK Max have some Calvin Klein ones at a good price.

I got four good sized ones in pommader spice for £20, which is the same price as on ehte White Company, no?

wordfactory · 05/12/2013 10:17

Last year someone bought me a Jo Malone one that cost over £100. It smells lush, but Shock.

I buy the bog standard White Co. Winter candle in the glass jar for £20 (or £16 as I always buy it when they have 20% off) - the scent is amazing. I have their tealights in 'Seychelles' and have also had the standard glass candle and I would say the tealights aren't as strong, no, but then they're much smaller?
