Who has one? Recipes/countdown/ present and card lists... Christmas themed games... Talk to me about your Christmas apps and whether they're any good!

(Have had a rummage but can't see a thread on this already; that seems surprising so sorry if I've missed it...)

I'll tell you what I've got, but can't link as I've had them for ages and can't remember the proper names!

I have a Christmas countdown of course - checked by the children every day.

A game with a little mouse going around a festive maze, a talking nativity story book (it's very American, but was free), the Snowman and the Snowdog, I think had the Disney Christmas Carol/Scrooge, but deleted it because it wouldn't work.

One based on a film, with elves in spy-goggles, deleted that too, as it was a bit rubbish.

I tried the Advent calendars, but most of them were 'a free App every day' types, and the apps were never any good for the children.

I've been looking again this year, but not seen anything good yet - possibly because I don't like paying for stuff Grin

I just saw an app about Christmas - downloaded to see what it was all about...it's a good idea, the parent enters their email and then gives the child the iPad to write down what they want for christmas! I think they get a message from 'Santa' too - and I get the email! Will report back when I try it with my youngest in December!

It's called Email to Santa if anyone is interested
