Teacher gift question.....

dd1 wants to make, ice and decorate a small cake for her teacher, do you think this is ok? (I will be supervising btw, she's only six)

I think it's a lovely idea. I'm a secondary teacher, so rarely get gifts. I'd appreciate it!

I echo Remus. One of the nicest gifts I got was a homemade Christmas cake last year.

I think its lovely, and will be appreciated. However a lot of my teacher colleagues won't actually eat anything their children have made!
