So chuffed!

Just found DC1 an enormous box of Cars toys on Facebook :)

For a tenner!!

He is going to be so chuffed!

They are both getting new slippers and dressing gowns to open on Christmas Day. DC1 (3) will have his box of cars, a remote controlled lightening McQueen and a toy Henry Hoover. Plus stocking fillers of sweeties and a few little silly bits.

But I don't know what to get for DC2 (1) I saw a wonderful ikea farm set (soft) that would do for his main present but a couple of small gifts would be nice... Something to put in his stocking...

Wondered if anyone had any ideas?

For his stocking:
Toddler cutlery (boots do nice sets)
Happyland figures
Chunky toy car
Socks
Hat
Bib if you use them at mealtimes
Rubber duck or boat for the bath
Magic flannel

Don't forget the choc santa for the stocking if old enough Grin I have a fab picture of my smallest one christmas munching her way through an entire choc santa

Choccy Santa is a good idea and so is bath stuff, they have loads of floaty bath toys but some new bubble bath etc is wrappable and good for the baby!

Bump! Would still love some ideas for main presents for the baby...

How about a nice wooden musical instrument set? Mine still play with theirs now and are nearly seven and nearly four Smile Just off to dry my hair and then I'll link what they have

lucysmam · 10/11/2013 20:29

I can't find exactly what my two have but this set looks nice. Mine have a harmonica and several recorders/drums from pound shops too Smile

Brilliant! Thank you so much that is perfect for E!

That will do for wrap up presents with an ikea farm set (because they are lovely.

That's a gorgeous set of instruments! I am considering getting some percussion stuff for my DCs, they are 6 and 4.

lucysmam · 10/11/2013 21:13

Hope your dc enjoys it if you do get it, mine have musical days and like to put on 'shows' with theirs Grin I've added bits too over the years to suit there being two of them and to stop scrapping over who gets to play with what Wink

My DD has recently started recorder club so I think there will be many a performance... would be great for them to play along while I play carols on the piano too!

I'm thinking of visiting a local tourist attraction again just for the shop there's only so many times one can admire llamas - they sell lots of gorgeous fair trade instruments. But that M&D set looks like a brilliant (and doubtless cheaper) alternative! Thanks

Well I play the guitar and husband the drums so I am thinking a sort of more crusty version of the Von Trapps
