I'm trying to track down quite a large toy tank - like an army tank - for a two and a half year old. Has anyone seen any anywhere, all the ones I've found so far a bit old really.

The Armed Forces ones are pretty good and are big enough to fit an action man sized guy in.

Smyths also has one that my 3yo DS loves to look at every time we are in! It's big and has lights and sounds!

Brilliant, thanks you very much - would you say those ones are ok for a two and a half year old then?

I can't remember them having lots of loose parts and that really depends on whether he is inclined to put things in his mouth. You could just take any small pieces away. I think you would struggle to find army type stuff aimed at younger children to be honest. See if you can get into a shop to look, but going by my own boys when they were that age, I think it would be fine.

Thanks soontobeslendergirl, he's not really one to put things in his mouth anymore so he should be fine with that
