Give me some ideas. Looking for some ' elegant' wrapping paper.

As there is no kids this year for Christmas Day. I thought for once I woukd make an effort in wrapping presents.

But I want some naice paper.

Nothing shiny, or that rips as soon as you touch it.

Paper chase or we got some lovely stuff last year in a gift set think it was tesco finest. Really good quality and nice ribbon and gift card.

Tesco's have some nice brown paper with rain deer on, its very thick and has lines/grid on the other side to make it easy to cut, would look nice with some red ribbon around it?

Shosha1 · 08/11/2013 12:26

Now I never thought if looking in tesco.

And I was in there this morning buying baubles!

Really should open my eyes proper like

Will go back and see

Ikea have a brilliant supply of naice paper. Or would you consider using brown paper? It looks fab with nice ribbon.

evelynj · 08/11/2013 15:12

Ikea or brown paper! I can't wait. Ikea is good for selections-last year I got 3 rolls of grey & White varying patterns so wrapped some with the grey & White & some red & White (stripes, spots & checks with the odd brown paper one-looked lovely).

I've started to wrap shoe boxes & putting odd shaped things into boxes as it's so much more pleasing to look at under the tree. I'm barely able to stop myself starting wrapping now!

WH Smith have some lovely brown paper with red reindeer on here

Shosha1 · 08/11/2013 16:36

Thank you all. I will go into town tomorrow and have a look in paper chase ( Ikeas to far away unfortunately)

I'm doing the shoe bix thing as well :)

M&S have lovely grown up paper including a brown paper with a star print on it.

They also do a selection of extra long rolls & are doing a 3 for 2 offer at the moment.
