ThisIsMe - yes he would suss you! DH and FIL and SFIL and BIL all have different tastes in whiskey so it doesn't really help anyway...

(Mind you BIL is a total snob about it. We have got some rank 'alcohol free whiskey substitute' and put it in an old empty v posh whiskey bottle - not for a present but just to see him try it next time he is round!)
