Has anybody tried that Hot Wires set? Wondering whether it is too complicated for a six year old? Seems too much of a bargain to resist...

Fluffytent · 08/11/2013 19:28

angelabbie · 08/11/2013 19:31

BicycleGasoline · 08/11/2013 19:44

This fattoria thing, I have their webpage up and am at the point of requesting a catalogue. Do the samples come automatically? Or do I need a code or to click somewhere else? There's no mention of any samples or freebies!
Thanks

sweetsomethings · 08/11/2013 19:46

Can you link me the website please Bicycle i cant seem to find the website.

ragdollismyname · 08/11/2013 19:47

Hi everyone thanks for all the great bargains, only an occassional poster but love reading this thread.
Spent £18 at poundland today received a voucher for £8 off in thorntons if you buy two boxes of chocs (from a choice of three, these were mint, dessert chocs or caramels I think). The boxes were £10each but 3for2 as well so with voucher off it's £12 for three boxes.

Can anyone help with this please...i want to get bil a steak stone and possibly some steak knives to go with it but they are really expensive everywhere I look. It's the best idea i've had for him but can't find it cheap enough!

MissBetseyTrotwood · 08/11/2013 19:47

lissieloo · 08/11/2013 20:25

Fattoria

ThisIsMeNow · 08/11/2013 20:27

Have just looked at 'the week' mag sub and the t&c's basically say no gift until you pay for the real sub (full price one). Hmm not sure if I still want to mag for my pa or if I'm just being enticed by another gift...?!

Anyone know of a half decent bottle of whisky that won't cost the earth? Not really got much budget left now. Ta.

sweetsomethings · 08/11/2013 20:28

Thank you so much lissieloo

lissieloo · 08/11/2013 20:29

No problem Smile

iloveblue · 08/11/2013 20:32

Hello - I was a huge lurker and occasional poster last year (I posted the fab personalised facecloth link - so proud Grin) , so great that this thread is still going.

There are some good deals on basic Lego on Amazon at the moment.
Just bought for DS2

Roof tiles £6.66

And
Doors and windows £7.50

Small cottage also a great price at £13.33

And, am very tempted by this for DS1

John Adams Hot Wires - £29.99

Also, 15% off at Book People today only with code STRAW

Aplogies again if any of these have been mentioned already.

CatAmongThePigeons · 08/11/2013 20:35

DH has claimed most of the Fattoria box so we are keeping it, he's going to sign up in his name to see if we get another box. The stuff is lovely and I'm tempted to order some wine as it seems reasonably priced even with delivery.
