My dd has asked for Lucy the Dog. No problem. Except its out if stock EVERYWHERE! Can anyone help? I'd be very grateful for any leads...!

Hello people :) My daughter has asked her nan for this Lucy dog for Christmas out of stock everywhere apart from ridiculously priced amazon and eBay! Gets me so mad when kids are after toys like this parents/grandparents desperate for stock to become available somewhere but doesn't because greedy people purchase loads to make money on them! HELP please people :(

Even though I have got one now, I am still checking stock locally- if I manage to locate one, I'll post here at cost price + postage... I know how frustrating it is xxx

Think they are still available on Very. I have just managed to add three to my basket on the 3 for 2 offer. If I buy three I could split the cost with 2 others, so £70 for the three (incl postage) £23.50 each plus postage. Anyone interested ?

Little shits, I just ordered three, put it through on my credit card, website confirmed they would be delivered on 26th then got an email to say out of stock, grrrrrrrrrr, so ignore my above post. Hopefully others that were being greedy won't be getting theirs either.

I too am desperately looking for Lucy the Dog. I live in Borehamwood in Hertfordshire. Don't bother ordering from Very as their website says they are in stock and they let you place the order and pay for it and then when it doesn't get delivered on the day you ring them and they say 'our website is incorrect, we don't have any'. They issued me with a full refund. I have emailed a complaint to customer services asking why I am still able to order and pay for one online when they don't have any. The prices on Ebay are ridiculous. Would be grateful if anyone could help.

Don't rest all your hopes with me yet though, I have heard a few people saying that Very have let them place orders but then cancelled it on delivery day. I phoned them yesterday and they said they were expecting shipment in to them today so fingers crossed. I will keep you updated.

I have a reservation code for argos chippenham and argos portsmouth if anyone needs one, I just managed to get the last one available for delivery from Toys r Us so I don't need these codes anymore.

They are only valid until the end of today though

Got an email from very today confirming my order as I ordered them when they first came into stock.

Maybe if someone replied to my first post with any kind of help I would have probably helped them out with a Lucy Dog, but they didn't. So...

Girls, it looks like Argos have them coming in over the next few days. Will keep a keen eye on it if i were you. Fingers crossed we all get one xx :O)

They appear to be available in 7 out ot the 8 closest Argos stores near me (Sussex) right now. Not looking for one myself, but if anyone wants one reserving, I'm happy to help :)
