Interesting hamper recommendations

I usually send a hamper to my siblings and their families at Christmas, and would love to know if anyone has any companies they would recommend for this.

I have tried to do different things in previous years:

Paxton and Whitfield was great for a stinky cheese hamper.

Lewis and Cooper did some very good quality and value Yorkshire-themed hampers the year before.

Sweets hampers from here have always gone down well too.

If you have any hamper ideas or companies to recommend, that would be great. I don't have time to make my own (half the reason I do hampers is to cut the faffing time!) but am open to all suggestions. What hampers have been good for you?

I have just ordered one from Fortnum and Mason. They do a big range, some are quite reasonably priced. I like the baskets they come in Grin.

A tea or coffee hamper would be good, but I don't have any recommendations!

Fortune and Mason sounds great, but I suspect I couldn't afford much from them! I'll have a look though, thanks.

A drinks hamper sounds like a great idea, Leeds, thanks!

I've seen a huge luxury f&m hamper (raffle prize won by family member) and wasn't impressed. Coffee was vile. I've bought Selfridges own brand food items (including their wines and proscecco) and found them really nice. They do hampers.

Crikey, Selfridges ain't cheap either! I will have a look at what they do, though, thank you.

Riverford do a hamper that looks delicious, although it is really a large veg box plus some extras, so isn't glamorous. I have used Riverford, though not the hampers, and they are very good and the food always great.

Again, I haven't used this company but adore cheese, so would love pretty much anything off this list. I like the look of the English Beauties one and did smile at the New Mothers one consisting of all the soft cheese you can't have while pregnant - I would have loved that!

Thanks! Thanks The Riverford ones look wonderful and I'm tempted to order one for us. Not terribly gifty though, perhaps, as they'll presumably have bought all that kind of stuff by the time the hamper turns up.

The cheese ones look fab too. I hope this thread might be useful to others considering hampers as lots of the recommendations have been really good.
