My murad order was cancelled too. I called them as I really wanted the book for my sister in law the gifts were only a bonus. I said I wasn't very happy and the woman I spoke to said she would speak to someone senior and call me back as the book says it is in stock as is the free gift you can get with it so she doesn't know what's happening.

joymaker - the zhu zhu hamsters are very gimicky from our experience. DD had quite a bit of fun when she was little (up to 6) playing with the hamsters. But the tunnels are expensive and very cumbersome when laid out. She wasn't bothered with them at all. She had far more fun making her own tunnels and obstacles with her toys! She did like the baby hamsters with their baby gadgets more than the big plastic tunnels (a lot of money for a bit of plastic tat I feel).

Does anyone have a valid Land's End code? My DM is now laughing at me and this thread as I've bought so much from it, but her Land's End code ran out before she could use it. Thanks.

Those type of cupcake stands never get good reviews. Very flimsy and unstable.

The zhu zhu hamsters in our experience can get their wheels twirled up in hair marvellously well!

joymaker we have two of those hamsters. One is a 'real' one and the other one is a cheapo fake one. They belong to DS1 who never cared for them but DS2 & DS3 are 2.10 and 18 months and think they are hilarious! They make funny little noises some hamsterish and some like a car.
We don't have any accessories for them, they just trundle around the floor randomly. They don't work too well on carpet though and the wheels can get clogged easily with hair and fluff.

I've just checked my murad account and it's still showing as payment received. I've checked emails too, including junk and there's nothing there from murad. I've done a search too but nope.

I emailed Murad last night and had no response. Shame because I would've bought more stuff if I liked it.

I am gutted I missed the Disney Store offer - I was too slow!

Got my Murad cancellation. Not impressed with their customer service or the fact they had already taken the money.

Hmm Murad cancelled here too. I want to write back to them and point out they are being very pants about the debarkle, but I can't be bothered!

Boo Murad. They were clearly putting loads of codes and offers out there, in a big drive to get new business. This is the risk you take if you are going to do that. It would be very easy to have managed it better. Surely their tech person could have made sure only one code stacked.

Better to take the hit in the pocket and get your stuff out there, than to pull stunts. People like to be able to trust companies.

I've emailed them as the order just disappeared from my account and they haven't even bothered to contact me. Very poor service, hardly likely to get many orders from Mumsnetters in the future.

I've been thinking and I am going to email zest magazine about Murad. Explain that I ordered and they cancelled the entire order because the free gift product isn't in and that was after taking my money, also I am aware of many others this happened to, and that in future they may want to consider their partner offers more carefully as this has left a huge amount of bad feeling on line both at Murad and at zest.
