Alice I'm guilty of suggesting the fruit notebooks Grin They're great aren't they, I have several sitting here pondering who to give them to!

Have you seen the christmas tree notebooks too...

janx · 04/11/2013 22:47

Did anyone get the body shop stuff from Glamour Mag? I have just cancelled subscription
My myriad order went through twice one for £18.99 :(

Leilandri · 04/11/2013 22:54

I've pre-empted Murad and emailed them to cancel my order Grin decided I didn't need it, and that £11ish can be spent elsewhere like my MOT, which I have forgotten to budget for

Theonlyoneiknow · 04/11/2013 22:55

Fab, think I will get the ikea veg along with Christmas gift bags, gingerbread house mould thing, elf for elf on shelf, what else am I missing from festive ikea???

Chelvis · 04/11/2013 22:57

pre made gingerbread house kits for when the moulds go wrong (voice of experience here! or maybe I'm just a bad baker!)

mum2jakie · 04/11/2013 23:00

Just ordered a set of Julia Donaldson ten audio CDs from the Book People. 10% off and free delivery codes (WINPC and ANGEL) stacked so paid just £8.99.

500internalerror · 04/11/2013 23:12

I can't believe I just looked through boots 3for2 - and can't find a third item that I want! Confused. Maybe it's just me, but the Xmas stuff just isn't so good this year.

Hummingbird bakery book reduced to £5 on amazon.
Just pick one up for my sister

comeandgo · 05/11/2013 00:05

I think a seperate magazine thread might be a good idea.

This thread is being eaten alive with posts purely about magazine subs.

I think the bargain deals are getting lost in between Sad

comeandgo · 05/11/2013 00:10

zipzap - Do you think a 6yo girl would like the notepads? Very tempted to get some as stocking fillers!

zipzap · 05/11/2013 00:23

comeandgo I would have thought a 6 year old would - I have 2 ds (8 and 5) - ds1 adores stationery of all sorts and has his eyes on my fruit stash! DS2 isn't bothered by stationery at all - but he doesn't like writing or drawing so the less he can interact with it the better so far as he is concerned!

They probably wouldn't need lots of them - just one or maybe two if they have a particular favourite. Or the cup cakes look very cute or the xmas tree is seasonal...

The fruit I've got is all probably the size of a medium apple, albeit some is a bit bigger depending on shape. The christmas tree is maybe 3-4 inches high. It looks best if you see it made up first - especially if you're little I would have thought so I don't know how sturdy it would be to survive in a stocking unless you can put it in a little box (some suppliers send them with boxes or sell the boxes separately, not sure I would pay extra for them though if they are just going to be thrown away!)

This link is to all the fruit/xmas tree/cupcake/money/ipad notepad sellers that do buy it now, in lowest price order - they all have slightly different selections of stuff in stock at slightly different prices. I'd definitely say it's worth a quick look for a pound or so.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 05/11/2013 00:27

I read mum2jakie's post at 11pm about the Book People earlier and couldn't go to bed without ordering three copies (and the obligatory other £30 quid's worth, obviously..). I went through TopCashBack and got money back there but then had to fiddle about a lot to get the 10% code to realise that I hadn't already used it. As long as ds2 doesn't wake at 4:30a.m, as he has recently, it will have been worth a late bedtime for the extra £3.30 off (as it was offering me 5% not 10%!!)! Thanks for the heads up and thanks to Reastie, as always. Smile

comeandgo · 05/11/2013 00:34

Thanks zipzap Smile

The cupcakes have sold me. I'm going to get two of those for dds and two of the Christmas trees. Just have to find the cheapest seller tomorrow when I'm more awake.

I think your right and they would look better made up so stocking is a no go! Wonder if I could wrap them for under the tree.

BeaWheesht · 05/11/2013 02:26

I've just ordered a load of Lego and hex bug fish type things for reservation until end of tomorrow so fingers crossed for 342. It won't be until wed (tmro) I don't think as that's when their existing offer expires.

Also had anyone taken in a toy to get the £5 voucher?

BeaWheesht · 05/11/2013 02:26

Previous post is re Argos in case that isn't clear

KillashandraRee · 05/11/2013 06:25

Does anyone know if White Stuff have a pre-Christmas sale? Have seen the perfect coat for DH but it's £150! Argh!

glenthebattleostrich · 05/11/2013 06:38

Mrs love, it was the one with bacon jam. It had a nice salad dressing, some hot chocolate, cranberries, red Thai curry kit, pop corn, some other bits too.

I'm going to get a second one as with a couple of bottles it can be split into a couple of hampers. Moohssive thanks for the link :)

Reastie · 05/11/2013 06:54

glen when did your flavourly box arrive? I ordered another one under DHs name that's due today, hoping it would be different stuff now it's november . I don't want more bacon jam!

I have a one off ELC 25% off voucher if anyone would like it PM me (I say that, but have no idea how to do it myself!)

bluesky · 05/11/2013 07:14

KillasahandraRee, they did have a pre-Christmas sale last year, think it was a one day sale, I got bits for bil then. I'd say hold on.

Patilla · 05/11/2013 07:32

mootime I would like the elc voucher if it's still available but I can't work out how to pm you. I'll keep searching but have an ill baby so might not manage it.

LottieDidIt · 05/11/2013 07:34
