20th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

OP posts:
Oreocrumbs · 04/11/2013 20:04

I've ordered the coffee, thanks Reastie.

My murad order is still showing (no. 434) and still £11.39. I shall wait and see what transpires!

RhondaJean · 04/11/2013 20:06

Ive just read murads terms and conditions carefully.

It doesn't say you can only use one discount code. It says you can only use one voucher per transaction And if you don't use the full amount of the voucher the rest is lost (so that's a gift voucher right?) and then it says discounts can only be used once per customer (so a different thing).

Of course if they are saying its because there's not enough stock that's a different story but if anyone managed to get a book order to go through in the meantime without codes...

olivo · 04/11/2013 20:07

Ooh, my money has gone out to Murad!

RhondaJean · 04/11/2013 20:08

Oh btw I've just been in tesco and they have loads of gift sets half price in their Christmas range, labels say until 24/11. Toiletries sets mostly, some are really nice, bayliss and Harding, lynx etc.

Theonlyoneiknow · 04/11/2013 20:11

Anyone know if the ikea fabric veg is any good?

CrackerSnacker · 04/11/2013 20:11

Also got an ELC/Mothercare 25% code if anyone wants it.

BadlyWrittenPoem · 04/11/2013 20:15

Theonlyone we have the ikea veg set and it's great - it's not something I ever would have thought of buying but the children absolutely love them and despite DD2 chewing them lots they are still in good condition.

Nanny25 · 04/11/2013 20:16

Cath Kidston 15% OFF when you spend £30, code TREAT13

Chelvis · 04/11/2013 20:17

Theonly, I think the IKEA veg is pretty good quality, but it's not huge - the leek is the biggest item and it's only about 7" long. My 2yo DD and my 7 mo love it though.

issynoho · 04/11/2013 20:20

Gooseysgirl Thanks for the Jakes code - not heard of them but DP and DS will love their tshirts!

It is very bad when you have your credit card number memorised. Very bad indeed. We're going to need a cold turkey recovery thread after Christmas.

Guy&stoic,
Have you still got the number for CL please. I have only an email address and want to make sure I am on the list for the wellies. Many thanks

I shall find it out when I'm off my phone Smile

ValiumQueen · 04/11/2013 20:23

My Murad has yet to be cancelled. I was one of the first to order.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 04/11/2013 20:25

My Murad also showing a different price but not yet cancelled. Keep obsessively checking my email but nothing yet.

I bought (well, I say bought Grin) the coffee. Thanks Reastie!

Sigma · 04/11/2013 20:26

I have two unique codes for 25% off all toys including existing offers at ELC valid until 18 November. PM if you would like one

olivo · 04/11/2013 20:28

Hmmm, now I have looked and it is only showing one free gift.Confused

DrankSangriaInThePark · 04/11/2013 20:30

Mine only ever did Olivo- I think because the free gift with the book was automatic as part of the book IYSWIM?

SpottyTeacakes · 04/11/2013 20:35

I'm not impressed with murad. I ordered at 9am yesterday so I don't believe they sold out that quickly Hmm

MooseyMoo · 04/11/2013 20:38

Present idea for marvel geeks: Marvel Year by Year a Visual Chronical £8.99 from the Book People using ANGEL for free delivery and WINPC for 10% off (this is a one time use code)

CatAmongThePigeons · 04/11/2013 20:39

I do think Murad have been really lazy with their cancellations, surely a bit of honesty shouldnt go amiss and they could say it's due to stacked codes as they're still selling the books. They could also sort the codes coding out so it only allows one.

I am getting more and more annoyed by this as time goes on.

DangerousMouse · 04/11/2013 20:42

Did I see a cox and cox code here somewhere? It's not on the OP..

olivo · 04/11/2013 20:44

Ah yes, I see, drank. Ah well, I'll watch and wait.

JaquelineHyde · 04/11/2013 20:45

No email from Murad yet and it is still showing as processing.

However, the money has gone out of my bank!

Also the amount that has gone out is the original £11 odd price but the amount showing on my account is the £12 odd new price Confused

I shall await the cancellation at some point tomorrow as I'm assuming they will have gone home now.

DangerousMouse · 04/11/2013 20:45

Found it - It's Organised for 15% off.

AnneOfCleavage · 04/11/2013 20:46

Oooh, I too rang Hearst magazine and Glamour today to chase free gifts and the Body shop set (Glamour) is out of stock and will be sent as soon as more arrives. Hearst (Company) said the watch has not been despatched and they can't think why so are reordering it for me and I should expect it in 10 working days - yay! I will then cancel as all the DD have gone through (as I've also done Cosmo and got the perfume) but so far have only had the Glamour mag. Company is due on the 12th apparently.

Did not have this much trouble with the Glamour subscription a few months back and got all 3 mags quickly plus free gift (teeth whitening set) quickly too. I also cancelled it with no problems at all and they were lovely on the phone about it. Not sure I'll ring Cosmo and company to let them know i'm cancelling as they have been shitty to so many mnetters is that bad?

JaquelineHyde · 04/11/2013 20:49

The stacking of codes isn't the problem though as the lady this morning assured me that you are allowed to stack magazine codes which is what we have done isn't it?

Unless they have had sooooo many stacked codes that they can't possibly afford to honour them.
