What goes with a microscope?

I have got one of DH's cousins (8 years old) a microscope fom the science museum for xmas. However, compared to the present for his brother, it looks really small (and was half the price). Is there anything complimentary that I can put with it to make the two gifts look comparable?

Just checked Amazon for a microscope book for kids, looks like there's a good Usborne one for £6.99. If you want to buy additional stuff, on the 'people who bought this also bought' banner there are some good slide sets. I would recommend the parasites one, some tapeworms look pretty impressive under the microscope.
