Tablets with parental control

Hello everyone.
I've been researching affordable tablets for my 7 & 9 yr olds so they can stay away from my iPad. I started with the kurio and feel that my two will get bored with them quite quickly. They feel like they are geared towards the much younger children. So I have moved to searching the normal tablets. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong about the kurio?

I'm now leaning towards the sumsung galaxy 2 or 3. What's I liked most about the kurio is the parental control. I want to be able to control how long they play games on them without nags and arguments.
Does anyone know if it is possible to set these types of controls on the normal tablets or do I have to buy the kid version. I prefer to buy the normal version to the kid version but would really like to have the controls on the kids version. Probably asking for too much. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there is an app you can download called web nanny or something similar from Google play store I have a tablet for my eldest and am trying to find a way I can restrict certain things like parental control type thing I will be interested if you find anything similar as am also searching otherwise I'll have to watch him a bit closer as ds does like to try and bend the rules a bit. Lol.
