Anyone want to discuss board games?

Somewhere to share the good and the worthless.

I need to buy:

A family board game for Christmas Day (thinking if Family Trivial Pursuit)

One/two for DS1/2 who are 8 and 6

One that we can include DS3 almost 3 with.

We have Monopoly that we enjoy, Deadly 60 that wasn't great and have just been given junior scrabble.

What are your must haves and absolute wastes?

I fancy Cluedo but I imagine we need Junior.

Qwirkle can be played from quite young, though the subtleties of a strategy might escape them for a while.

Uno is a big favourite in this house, DS has joined in from age 3.

There are quite a few card games that can work - old favourites like Go Fish, Donkey and of course the old faithful SNAP!
