Teenage Socks

I'm putting together a few little gifts for a relatives teenage daughters, they are aged 14 and 13. I've seen some lovely Christmas socks I think they might like, but they are adult socks. My question is, are teenagers of that age wearing adult socks or should I be looking for something else ? Thanks, odd question I know. Can't ask the mum as she is in the process of starting a new job. She's a bit stressed because of it, so don't want to bother her with pointless questions. Smile

I think adult socks should be fine. I have 2 teenage DDs, and we all share socks! Unless they have particularly small or large feet, I don't think there would be a problem.

Mine wore adult shoes and (odd) socks at that age.

My 14 year old DD has bigger feet than me, although my feet are possibly the only dainty thing about me Grin

Adult socks from 11ish for girls, my 12y has both as they now do 3-5 children's socks in some places.

New look are great for socks for teenagers as they have loads of really funky designs. £2 a pair or 3 pairs for £4. DD gave them as Xmas presents last year with a cadburys elf, candy cane etc tucked in stocking like.

My DSDs have been wearing adult socks for at least a couple of years, they are 15, one size 5ish one size 7ish. :)

Any more recommendations for funky socks? I'd like some piglet ones for one DSD and also some hedgehog ones for myself if anyone knows of such things :o

Ooh love the idea of sticking a candy cane in, how sweet. :)

Ooh... badger and owl socks for DCs' teachers would be good...
