Sending items abroad?

We want to post some things to the USA and Canada but Parcel Force and Royal Mail prices are unreal.

Are there any good companies that post to Canada and the USA?

DHLlite came in at half the price UPS and Parcelforce quoted me, booked it all online, paid by paypal, picked collection slot, no problems with delivery.

How did you do measurements? I have no idea where the tape measure is

It usually says length, width and height.

Width - round the middle
Length - ??
Height - top to bottom
