18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

Quick - I'm en route to morrisons - what do I want to look out for?!?!

kiwidreamer · 29/10/2013 16:47

Brockle I've looked online at ELC / ToysRus and no luck, there is a ToysRus here so I might pop in after Half Term and take a look... no ELC's anymore just the toys in Mothercare but worth a look.

I've seen a bundle on ebay that I would love but the guy is insisting on collection... in Liverpool... I dont need them 8 hour drive round trip much! Have sent an email begging asking if he'd consider Collect+ and a BIN... unlikely but have to ask at least.

Kinky the Millenium Falcon set is a bargain price but only comes with two figures and really he doesn't need more presents, he really does have enough already --bloody murphy's law with being organised so early-- sooo tempted tho but would still want a few more figures so that would bump the price up considerably

Oh the dilemma.

If anyone else see's these figures (Playskool Star Wars) in their RL shopping please think of me and come back to this thread with details... I'm here --all day-- at least once a day.

Can't seem to scroll back on my phone now but just wanted to say thanks to whoever mentioned the millennium falcon at Argos. Ds1 was admitted to hospital this a.m after a vomiting bug left him dehydrated. This afternoon, after some treatment, he is so much better that he is determined he deserves a present. After everything this year and today, I have reserved a falcon for him for when we get out. It might just buy me some peace in here until we hopefully get discharged at about 9pm!

oneofeach2010 · 29/10/2013 16:58

Kiwi have just PM'd you about Playskool Star Wars stuff that Debenhams have.

WaitMonkey · 29/10/2013 17:06

Hope your ds is ok, Survival. He will be so excited with a Millennium Falcon. Bless him. Thanks for you.

Hope it's okay to post this as it isn't a Christmas bargain.

Tesco have 50% off all Halloween costumes - free next day delivery to store.

angelabbie · 29/10/2013 17:21

apologies to all for mentioning the ends of stock I had, did not know this was not allowed.

TooWetToWoo · 29/10/2013 17:25

LaTrucha that link goes to your personal sign in page, it has your email address so I'm not sure if you want to report the post and get it deleted.

Coveredinweetabix · 29/10/2013 17:25

Hope your DS is OK, Survival. How is your DD doing, Lucy?
I've just picked up the ASDA gift guide. They have some nice Xmas jumpers for about £8 but which don't come in stock until mid-Nov.
They also have some Nordic patterned crockery & glasses for anyone doing a Nordic homeware theme. I'm going to get some of the mulled wine glasses as, whilst I'm not that bothered about mulled wine, I love Winter Pimms.

Reastie · 29/10/2013 17:39

Speaking of halloween outfits - does anyone remember when the costumes get heavily discounted? Last year I got a tesco dress for DD (which I used for her this year) for something ridiculously cheap like 50p after halloween. I'm wondering when's the best time to go into store - 31st october or 1st november?

OP posts:
IHeartKingThistle · 29/10/2013 17:42

tootiredtothink · 29/10/2013 18:39

IHeartKingThistle have you tried ebay? Bought Kiddizoom for ds there a couple of years ago and it's still going strong....I just had to google the instructions.

Ds didn't notice it didn't come in a case. Still working and I think I only paid less than £10 for it.

comeandgo · 29/10/2013 18:46

The best thing about these threads has been discovering HUKD and CamelCamelCamel.

I never intend to pay for anything full price again - even long after this thread has died Grin

giraffeseatpineapples · 29/10/2013 18:54

No way this thread can never die!

RatherBeOnHoliday · 29/10/2013 18:54

For anyone flying at Christmas Amazon have the Trunki Boostapak car seats down to £19.98 from £45.

<a class="break-all" href="http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p(898)a(2333489)g(18158604)url(www.tesco.com/direct/dyson-dc30-handheld-vacuum-cleaner/206-9589.prd)" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dyson DC30 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner reduced to £99 at Tesco online.

Plug in a few vouchers from the Discount Links page and you could get it down to £75:shock: making it roughly half the normal price.

oneofeach2010 · 29/10/2013 19:01

Are there any Debenhams codes about. The ones listed in the OP don't seem to be working for me!?

HenriettaBrain · 29/10/2013 19:04

Kiwi my local ELC definitely had them last time I was in. And they were on sale too, although I'm not sure what price. I'll be there at the weekend if you want me to check
