18th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Apologies that the long code list isn't fully updated from the last thread - I've been ill and haven't been able to keep up. If there's anything good which I can add to the next OP please will you fill me in and I'll add it? Thanks

QueenofClean · 26/10/2013 10:06

Some great stuff on here for my 8yo DD. Any ideas for my DD who will be 2 at christmas?

MooseyMoo · 26/10/2013 10:11

John Lewis have 20% off Playmobil

SolomanDaisy · 26/10/2013 10:21

Someone mentioned Tesco clothing sale on page 7, thank you. I didn't actually buy anything in the sale but they had some great stuff like checked cotton flannel pyjamas for DS for five pounds. They're great Christmas pyjamas. I also found a code on HUKD, FFFBOCT, gives ten pounds off a forty pound spend.

MooseyMoo · 26/10/2013 10:21

Sorry posted too soon. There are a few stocking fillers like blind bags for £1.59, Santa & snowman

janx · 26/10/2013 10:24

Am looking for a lightweight sleeveless cardy for my mum. If anyone spots one can you post - thanksSmile

kiwidreamer · 26/10/2013 10:25

Oh so gutted the colour hair doll thingy is back up to £20, I nearly got it last night for a couple of parties DS has just been invited to but wasn't quite sure... made up my mind and poof the price has sky rocketed.

I got these instead, pack of two dizzy dancers normal price £14 they say, pack of two for £4.50

www.amazon.co.uk/Furreal-Friends-Dizzy-Dancers-Pack/dp/B0078J7888/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1382779246&sr=1-1&keywords=dizzy+dancers

Also gutted that an Add On item I was waiting to get £10 of stuff and then include has rocketed from £3 to £9, was a cute set of four knock off my little pony's from Smoby... really annoyed, that would have finished off DD's stocking!

Thanks for the Dear Zoo tip, I've been collecting all the cheap books over the last month for my new nephew who is due to be born very soon :)

kiwidreamer · 26/10/2013 10:30

Christmas décor related tip, Home Bargains have cake tins and biscuit barrels in a cute Nordic reindeer pattern which coordinate really well with the pattern available from Matalan for table place mats and a few other bits, extra handy if you are in Reading and the two stores are side by side on the A33 :)

Also Smyths opens this weekend at Reading Gate which will make a trip to TK Maxx even more fun next week... big fuss there today for opening weekend which we'll avoid like plague but have £5 off £15 voucher to spend at Smyths, tho their flyer advertised the DArth Vader toy at £19 discounted when I only paid £12.50 at Tesco for it!!!

Mum2Pea · 26/10/2013 10:43

supermariossister · 26/10/2013 10:47

got my amazon jewellery today, the owl necklace is really nice , the peacock bracelet is beautiful but looks really small so think it will go in a child stocking when i originally wanted it for an adult.

Chockywockydoodah · 26/10/2013 10:55

Anyone else not yet received their Puffin books delivery? I ordered the Peepo gift set for a gift but its not arrived as yet? Hmm

AliceinSlumberland · 26/10/2013 11:01

Just got an email from the sun confirming my £10 morrisons voucher will arrive in 28 days, brilliant!!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 26/10/2013 11:15

I've just ordered some hits and pieces from amazon for party bags. The only trouble is the delivery of a few things is estimated at 5-28 days!!

mrsbugsywugsy · 26/10/2013 11:38

chocky I ordered mine on the 20th and received it on weds or Thursday. Did you get a dispatch email? It came in a huge box so they would have had to leave a card if you were out.

cece · 26/10/2013 11:39

Allyblaster · 26/10/2013 11:40

Did anyone else spot the mini "Festive Goat" in the Zulily dolls-house furniture sale today Grin - saw the large ones in IKEA yesterday. Does that straw stuff scream "Blair Witch" to anyone else by the way or is it just me? NOT very festive at all Halloween Wink!!!

Mipe · 26/10/2013 11:51

The Dorothy Perkins code for 25% off and free delivery is DPTREAT25, they have some lovely little dresses for £18 so £13.50 delivered :).

ClaimedByMe · 26/10/2013 11:56

Today I am refusing to move off the sofa until I have made a dent in the xmas shopping, I am still clueless what to get anyone :(

I want to get both my dd and ds football 'stuff' they both play, the need new socks, shin guards etc, I want to get dd a bootbag (they currently share one) and I want one that's pink or has pink on it I am no feminist why are most boot bags boyish?

Oh and ds wants the Guinness book of records..

BushmillsandIce · 26/10/2013 12:00

Really stuggling for ideas for boys 10 and 11. One is DS and one DN and I need some stocking fillers. I love the spy kit idea, but any other suggestions?

notso · 26/10/2013 12:08

Just had DS3's FisherPrice super friends delivered but they weren't in any packaging Shock I had to scurry upstairs with them before the DC saw them.
I think Amazon is getting me back for all the moany packaging reviews I've left them!

NeverQuiteSure · 26/10/2013 12:20

Urban Decay commando lip glosses £4.99 delivered from here and here

Wallace and Gromit extreme drinking straw for £8.99 delivered. Kind of like meccano with straws. It is cheaper on Presents For Men, but their delivery is quite expensive.

Thanks for the Amazon doll links. I've ordered 2 for upcoming parties. One might not arrive in time, in which case I think I will switch it with something of a similar price from DD's Christmas stash.
