my second baby is due round december i am getting her a steiff bear as i did with my first daughter ( 4 ) i was wondering if anyone else has done this and what other collectable teddies are there sorry if its in the wrong place never to sure were to put my posts :s

Boyds bears are nice and I've bought one with the correct name for family babies where possible.

I love Steiff Bears but they aren't really cuddly (too hard)
Costco have some (or they did when I was there last)
QVC sell collectable Charlie Bears but IMO their proportions are wrong.

When I was 5 months pg with my PFB (who is now nearly 14) I walked round every toyshop I could find in Glasgow to find a Teddy Bear with The Look.

The Look was the same expression our cat had one day when it was really breezy, she went out into the garden and turned her head to the house. Her ears were sticking out to the side and her eyes were all snake-eyes (

My DS still has the Teddy Bear on his bed.....Bless.

i have got them a cuddly teddy my dd still has hers the steiff isnt to play with its on a shelf in her room :)

i got my ds a vintage looking pooh bear from a gorgeous teddy shop in york. that shop was amazing, if you're near york you could have a look, i could have spent days in that one shop

The Harrods Christmas Bear - my DD was given one as a baby and it's lovely.

Ragtales Darcy bear is lovely x

Another vote for the harrods bear, it changes each year and its nice to have the one from the year they were born

DD has a House of Frazer bear from her birth year - has 2002 on his paw and a scarf.
(I didn't buy it so no idea of price)
