giant table cracker?

Does anyone know where I could buy (ideally quite cheaply, but doesn't have to be) a giant cracker for the table at Christmas, in which I could put small gifts for all my family? My granny used to do this and we loved it. She reused the same cracker every year. It didn't snap, or anything. If I can't find one to buy I will have to make one, and I am crap at craft so it won't end well.

Never used the company myself though. My nearly brother in law got us a hotel chocolat one the other year. It was WONDERFUL.

I think I saw one in home bargains last week... I think.....

I think we got ours from BHS a couple of years ago, I saw them in there. Fillers were total tat though - fun on the day but subtly binned by new year. So depends if that's what you're after, if you want something naice I don't know of any to recommend.

Home Bargains had some in last week. £2.99 if I remember correctly.

Ohhh I could murder a hotel chocolat one. Hoping to get an advent calendar for myself (not the DCs, it'd be wasted on them...) from HC

I got one I think from sainsburys after Xmas last year. It's stashed away for this year. It's got a game inside it, which I thought was quite a good idea.

OldRoan that's the one my lovely friend gave me and DH a couple of years ago! It was great although had several repeats of flavours throughout the month.

Same friend also sent me a massive 'room service' box from there once. I luffs him :o

Thanks all - only just got chance to come back on - great to have replies! Will try BHS next weekend, and if that fails go for the on line one. No Home Bargains round here, sadly (though wish there was - it sounds fab!)
