Gift Vouchers

Can I get away with just giving all the adult family members gift vouchers this year??

We are waiting for a moving date..looking to be around December. Im going to be inundated with cardboard boxes and unpacking so thinking it would be easier.
Feel bad though as ive usually got all sort of homemade goodies on the go but really don't have the time or energy!
Ive got some of the girls bits (3 and 5) and mum says I can store them at hers out the way so that's something.

Anyone suggest any different kinds of vouchers rather than the usual shops?

I think as you're moving that would be very sensible.

Sometimes when I give vouchers I sort of pretty them up (eg wrapping them with lots of ribbon) to show it's not just an easy/lazy gift, but I guess with a move you may be a bit busy for that!

You could also buy people subscriptions to magazines or delivery services like the spicery or graze?

Can understand why you would do this Apart from girls are the rest all Adults ?

If adults I would do as Vatta suggested & go for magazine subscriptions - a gift every month of 2014 (!) , perhaps National Trust pass or Cinema Unlimited card.

Other optioncould be hampers or plants etc from say John Lewis, M&S etc

Garden Centre vouchers? Can be spent on items other than plants and gardening things.

Great voucher ideas everyone, Thanks :)

I also have 3 neices/nephews to buy for, all little ones. They shouldnt be too hard to sort though.

Im tempted to finish all the kids presents soon and maybe even wrap them so that whether we have moved or not we will be sorted and ready. I can imagine moving a week before xmas and flapping about like a headless chicken!

Cinema card would be fab for my sister!
Vatta- Im sure I can manage some ribbon :)

If they are really little perhaps their parents may appreciate say JL or ELC vouchers and that way they could buy them things after Xmas in the Sales - I mean little in that they have no idea or concept of what Christmas is and so not to get a present wouldn't bother them.

Other option is to buy online, get giftwrapped & sdent directly to them in time for Chjristmas ....
