Is it me or is the Primark Christmas bedding really small?

Just tried to put a double fitted sheet on my double bed and it won't fit, not even close. Package says it should be 135cm wide, I measured it and it is. Actually thought they'd put a single sheet in by accident.

My double mattress is 137cm wide. So I can't even stretch it to cover the surface never mind down the sides.

According to google a standard double bed is 137cm wide.

So my bed is normal size.

They said bedding was non returnable, but surely if they're making stuff in the wrong size its not fit for purpose?

Dh has just measured it and its actually only 80 cm across, so its a single in a double packet.

Which means I have to trek back into town next weekend for a refund. So pissed off. And they'd sold out when I was in town yesterday so I want the lot refunded, inc the duvet cover. I bet they'll try and argue not giving me a refund for that as there's nothing wrong with the cover.
