Just bought throws/blankets for everyone's beds (instead of Xmas duvets). Very excited. Lots of Nordic styles on eBay.

They sound nice are you going to just put them on in December a bit of a Christmas tradition

hermioneweasley · 13/10/2013 16:12

Yes sonly, I was thinking from 1st Dec

Sounds lovely.

Grin

We have the grey Nordic duvet set (online) and a Primark flannel white with tiny blur reindeer sheet and pillowcase set.
(DH didn't like the dark blue set and red wouldn't go in our room)
We bought a KS bed in January.
DD has our old double bed and my warm (but not Christmassy) microfibre plum duvet and sheet set .
The DC have Christmas fleece throws (bought when they were preschool age)

My bedding will go on Dec 1st I reckon.

Any links please Smile

Dunelms do some lovely fleece covers. I brought them last year for my 2 dd's and grandson .

I also got my eye on the grey nordic style ones from b&m for front room

chimchar · 13/10/2013 16:33

I just bought this yesterday because I couldn't resist! Didn't think about putting them on the beds. Lovely idea!

There were lots in Dunelm. Really soft and cosy microfibre type fleece.

FriskyHenderson · 13/10/2013 16:39

Can we have some ebay links please?

hermioneweasley · 13/10/2013 16:42

The gingerbread man thrown from Dunelm is gorgeous!

I just searched for Christmas blankets on eBay uk

glad you like! Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/10/2013 15:29

Today I just happened to swing into Dunelm Mill........
and got 2 fleeces (holly and gingerbread man)
2 gingerbread man cushions for my pooh brown sofa
and a doormat Grin

Told the lady at the checkout is was 70 days (I'm sure she was thrilled ) probably thought I was a bit weird Halloween Wink

girlywhirly · 16/10/2013 15:56

Ah, but Dunelm always sell out really quickly of the fleece blankets, so you have to get them soon! We have two gingerbread man ones on a couple of chairs by the patio window which the cat likes to sleep on and spread black hairs all over.

I must look at the cushions.....

WaitMonkey · 16/10/2013 16:05

Sob ! That stupid shop don't home deliver those amazing blankets and I don't live near a shop. Not fair. Sad

frosty21 · 16/10/2013 16:07

Are the Dunelm mill gingerbread blankets microfibre fleece?

girlywhirly · 16/10/2013 16:16

They're not the furry pile sort of fleece, but they're very cute and not expensive. Chimchar thinks they are microfibre.

Waitmonkey, do you have any rellies who live near a Dunelm who could post you some?

frosty21 · 16/10/2013 16:20

Ah eau de toilette make sense! Was very confused for a minute there Grin

Begging again for a ELC birthday code if anyone has then? Pretty please Grin

frosty21 · 16/10/2013 16:21

Wrong thread Blush

Thanks girly - I'll think I'll pop down and look!

Penguinbeaver · 16/10/2013 16:26

Got lovely red Nordic ones in matalan yesterday were in a 3for 2 offer at £5 each and then had the 20%off voucher too, they are lovely and soft. Worked out at about £2.67 each!! Grin

SallyBear · 16/10/2013 18:08

Ooooh. I always put on Santa duvets for the DC, but this year I want to get some Christmassy bedding for us, so I will pop into Dunelm and have a look!

wornoutbutstillwonderful · 16/10/2013 18:15

Can I ask penguinbear which atalan voucher?

FriskyHenderson · 16/10/2013 21:10

I can't find the matalan blanket on the website. It's a 25mminute drive to the nearest one... is it worth going on the off chance?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 16/10/2013 22:03

Got a dunelm one the other day. It's nice but doesn't cover a whole single bed. Kind of up to the pillow iykwim.
Love my primark Xmas bedding - flannelette=cosy
