Still stuck with what to get dd2 (7 but has autism so likes younger toys too), so far I have come up with either a puppet theatre or a CD player . she loves music but I don't think she could use a MP3 player, she also loves most toys ( still likes peppa pig but has also asked for moxie girlz as she likes the ones in argos with drums and guitars), also thinking of a musical instrument but she already has a few, was thinking maybe a big xylophone?

What are your dc's getting?

I think I must share fuzzpig's daughter, she would probably love that whole list. Instead she is getting:

some scooby doo stuff - probably the mystery machine, have also got figures and trap kit to share between dd1 & ds

Pillow pet blanket

A 1/3 stake in forbidden island game

? Blocks like kapla

Personalised swimming bag & towel

Personalised pencil set

She sometimes talks about a new scooter but may need to wait for that for her birthday unless we get more money soon! Her old one still works just not as sturdy as dd1's.

grey- i have ds1 whos birthday is the middle of november and ds2 whos birthday is the 28th of december so i feel your pain of having them close together and i have to be carefull not to spend less just because of that.

mine 4 and 7 both love minecraft. their main present from me is a torch replicia and a creeper teddy, they are both £30 a pop is is there main things. but will have lego set.
amazon and ebay have some great sales on for lego. so do woolworths.

ds1 wants a electric scooter, hasve you tubed them and they look quite good but are quite dear.

lego also have some new bricks called lite bric.. they light up, they look quite good.

A digital camera, so she stops filling up the memory on my phone. Might get some video editing software too so she can do some home movies.

I have bought her a couple lego sets ( small sets ), a chocolate making set, a disco ball and sequin art.

I'm not sure if she would like a iPod as she doesn't like head phones ( due to being sensitive to sound and touch ) and she's good at loosing things.

My DD is also 7 in November and she is getting a full sized keyboard to play about on and start learning.

She also wanted the robot dog thing but I've also put my foot down on that one ;-)

DD would have just turned 8 but her main present is a new scooter and helmet.

She will be getting a DSi for her birthday the week before.

We have a full sized keyboard, well worth it, ours gets played every day. She also has a drum kit but this has been put away for the sake of our ears ( we tried her with a electric one but she didn't like it), she's a guitar and a toy saxophone, all get played with a lot and all cost me next to nothing ( picked them all up at boot sales ), I'm keeping my eye out for a proper wooden xylophone as she would love one ( and it will fit in the toy cupboard when we get fed up with the noise ). She loves scrabble so I have bought her a similar game from home bargains which she will love. Would just like to find her one biggish thing that she would get a lot of use out of but I guess it doesn't matter if she has more smaller things ( would rather that then have so etching huge that just fills our house up and gets no use ).

Ds age 6 years

Desk (for his room in an attempt to keep his carpet pen free and paper contained!!)

TMNT dressing up outfit

TMNT onesie (all from EBay so far)

Chocolate

Skips (he LOVES them but I don't buy them often as so expensive compared to Value crisps)

Case for the tablet

Haribo

Spiderman inflatable mallet and shield from the 99p shop

My 6 year old will be getting Playmobil from us (the new clothing boutique) and a toy cash register from grandparents- she loves playing shops, and I'm hoping it will be good for her maths skills as well.
