Elf on the Shelf

Hi have managed to buy a girl elf at a reasonable price.

I would love to buy a skirt for her (or two) but I cannot find anywhere in the UK and the cost of postage from USA is more than the cost of the skirt.

Can anyone help please?

Surely it's very very quick, cheap and easy to just make some?

I got a scrap of fabric, put an elastic band round her waist and tucked it in.

As nobody can touch her, it works perfectly.

How reasonable was the price and where from? All I've seen are £25+. I want to start it this year ds1 is 7 and beginning to not believe but ds2 is 2.8. Want to keep the magic going a bit longer!!

I bought mine at book depository (amazon) at £23.99 plus postage. Have also found a skirt tutorial at sevenpretty.com/2011/11 or just google .

I also found out that you can buy the DVD from Argos but only online for £2.99 we have watched it and it is brilliant the little ones will love it x
