What would my 2¾ DS love as a main present?

He already has Duplo and doesn't like it much :(

Thank you - have a ds of a similar age & that Ikea kitchen looks great! Just have to figure out where it will fit in our tiny house!

I'd second the Tesco train set. DS had it at that age and it's still a favorite one year on, as are his kitchen, market stall and dolly/buggy.
He got really in to cars at about that age, too. I bought him the elc airport, but he prefers to make car ramps with blocks, books etc (so, I flogged it on the local selling site to help fund my recent bargain thread habit...) So, maybe a garage and cars?

Ds3 will be the same age, I think he would love one of those big kitchens but dp doesnt think so.

Ive also looked at the train tables as I think hed love one, my mum is getting him a scooter.
