Works Christmas do is 70s themed

I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought I'd try here with it being Christmas related.
don't like most of the 70's 'costumes' I want a 70's vibe outfit but I still want a glam Christmas dress.
Would a one shoulder sequin mini dress work? I haven't a clue what to go for

They still had mini dresses in the early 70s pre-ABBA.

Go for the late 70's disco, bit more glam than the early 70's long flowing prints do not go for the clashing prints I am wearing on my profile
