Has anyone done this with their kids yet and if so, is it worth it? Tickets are like £65 each or something and I'm just wondering if DD is old enough at 3 to really enjoy and remember it?

I think booking starts really soon so it has to be booked asap.

I've booked for this year with DD who will be 2.7yrs and DS 5.5yrs, if it weren't for my parents having their last Xmas in the UK with us for sometime I wouldn't have bothered personally and would have waited another year. Its not something we can afford to do every year, tickets are £80 each person x 6 (4adults 2kids) so I'd wait until 3yr old could properly appreciate it, maybe 4 or even 5yrs... at 3yrs she'd be happy with a good garden centre Father Christmas I'm sure.

sorry, not all tickets are £80 just the only day we can go due to my parents work schedule, tickets range from £45 to £80

Thanks kiwidreamer I had thought DD was a little too young to appreciate it.

I have just booked for Christmas Eve. DS will be 3.4. If it is good we will aim to go each year for a few years so it becomes something he remembers as a childhood Christmas Eve 'thing'!

If it's not good, I figure he's too little to be disappointed/ disenchanted- so this year is a kind of safe trial!!

It's going to have to be good for the money!!!
