DP thinks I'm mental!

Started this years Christmas shopping last Saturday (few reduced decs to replace broken/6 rolls wrapping paper for a quid/cards for school and us/couple of stocking fillers/new snow blanket to replace tatty old one) spent about 4 quid on the lot

So on Saturdays list for this week I have more stocking fillers & am going to mooch around & see what else is on offer cheap.

Plus I was going to get started on the odd little bits of crafty/making I do do for Christmas.....

Please tell me I'm NOT mental & I'm NOT alone in having started already.........................................

Thanks for info. I might wait a bit although they seem to become unavailable quite a lot. I did accidentally overpay my credit card though, so I could use that perhaps.

I am frequently astounded by price changes on amazon too. It often seems to happen as soon as I save something in my basket (as opposed to a wish list). My paranoid/cynical side keeps thinking that somebody just watches to see if somebody adds things to their basket and then puts the price up! Not tiny changes either, things like DVDs that change from £7 to £20, WTF?!

Fuzz pig, I was told that the number of hits they have on a certain item, the more the price changes. Might be rubbish though....

I bought 2 jars of Sainsburys mincemeat (the 400g jar) for 10p a jar.
Use by date Oct 2014 so loads of time.
Bog standard (not basic but not Taste the Difference) but I can add some grated apple and brandy to it.

They had bigger jars and the large tubs too.

Very excited by my sainsburys bargains today, spent about £9 and got loads

2 bags of bows
2 speakers
Hat and scarf
Alarm clock
Kitchen wipe board
2 boxes of biscuits
Pizza express jar
Big tub of mincemeat
